Grow lights and reflectors
The kind of grow lights you use to grow your favourite plants is a determinant factor to succes. We’ve made a selection of grow lights which charactarises efficiency, safety and durability.
Led technology is developing at a rapid page. Amazing results are achieved with this type of lighting nowadays. We’re talking quality as well as quantity wise! But the staggering amount of leds on the market makes it hard to select a proper, efficient and sustainable one. We’ve done this for you by creating a selection of leds of which we think they’re so good that we dare to connect our name to them.
The HPS (high pressure sodium) gasdischarge lamps are the most commonly used grow lights in the industry. They stand for reliability in terms of what you can expect yield wise but also produce a lot of heat and have a relatively short life span. It’s preferable to use them in combination with dimmable electronic ballasts.
New in our program is the CMH (ceramic metal halide) lamp. This model produces a nice full spectrum light and remarkably little heat. Nice yields!
In order to run a HPS or CMH model you need a ballast. A ballast is a transformer which produces the right current for the lamp to run on.
The Lucilu range of electronic ballasts have been for years in our catalogue. They have proven to be efficient and safe ballasts which stand for years of hassle free growing.
To get the most out of your lamp you need a good reflector. There are three aspects a good reflector needs to have. 1) It should be made of high reflective material. 2) It should spread the light evenly over the grow surface. 3) It should not produce any hotspots directly underneath the lamp.
All our reflectors have these capacities.
If you would like your G-tools grow box fitted with specific grow lights we can install these on request.
