HPS grow lights are the most commonly used lights in the horticultural industry. HID stands for “high intensity discharge”. These are gas discharge lamps. The type of gas inside the grow lamp determines the colour temperature of the light. The colour temperature decides for a large extend for what purpose the plant light can be used, flowering or vegging.
For the moment we have two types in our catalogue. Besides HPS (high pressure sodium) grow light bulbs we recently added a CMH (ceramic metal halide) plant light. The CMH grow lamp has a much more natural colour temperature then the HPS. Both are alround HID grow lights and can be used for the flowering as well as the vegetative stage of your plants.
At the moment we stock a selection of Philips and the cheaper but very reliable Sunkraft.
