Germinating seeds and young plants need less intense light than flowering, fruiting plants. In addition, this type of lighting has a different color temperature. This is expressed in Kelvin.
The color temperature of these lamps is around 4000 Kelvin, while the spectrum for lamps for flowering plants is around 3200 Kelvin. This means that lights for propagation have more blue light added to the spectrum.
Lights with a color temperature around 4000 Kelvin approaches the color temperature of spring light. The period in which seeds germinate and plants grow.
Lamps with a color temperature around 3200 Kelvin have more red light in the spectrum and approach the color of the light of autumn. The time when many plants bloom.
