Using the grow mat for sprouts is very simple. The mats are placed in special punnets, after which they are moistened with tap water and sprinkled with a layer of sprouting seeds.
The punnet with mat and seeds is then placed under a grow light after which the seeds will germinate and grow into microgreens within a few days. After germination of the seeds, the mats should be moistened regularly.
The great water absorbing capacity of the mats will prevent the seeds from drying out. In addition, the sterile properties of the material ensure that plant and soil diseases are prevented.
The mats are suitable for single use and can be thrown on the compost heap after use.
