Digital Fan Controller for PK EC blue fans
All ECblue fans are equipped with an RJ45 connection for this digital fan controller. The controller allows you to set the desired temperature that should be maintained in the ventilated area. In addition to the desired temperature, you can set a minimum and maximum running speed of the fan.
When the temperature sensor detects a temperature lower than the desired set temperature (light off), the fan will run at the set minimum speed. This can be any value between 0% and 100% of the fan’s total capacity. When the sensor detects a temperature higher than the set desired temperature (light on), the fan will run at the set maximum speed. Again, this can be any value between 0% and 100% of the fan’s total capacity.
Unlike the Prima Klima EC-TC fans, the digital fan controller is not built into the fan itself. The major advantage of this is that the fan can be installed where it is most needed—at the top of the grow room, where heat accumulates. If this location is difficult to access, the ECTC-1 digital speed controller can be mounted somewhere more accessible. This way, you can monitor and, if necessary, adjust the climate from outside your grow box or grow room.
